How do i convince my mom to let me have a cell phone?
I am so serious...Im like one of the ppl in my whole school that dont have cell phones. I really want one cause im sooo gonna miss my friends today was last day of school. And a bunch of the kids at my school are going to this new school that was just built, so I wont get to see them anymore...and like everyone was asking for my cell number today and I dont have one!!!!!! I am really responsible, smart, and have gotten straight As my WHOLE life Ive been in school. Im a great student, have lots of awesome friends, and my teachers like me a lot. Im not the kind that would text and I am soooo willing to pay for the phone myself. I follow the rules, Im a hard worker, I do my chores, respectful, and smart. Im also traveling soon and I said that I want to be able to call her while Im gone, but she didnt care at all. She was just like use your friends phone. But my friends get kinda irritated cause I always ask to use their phone. I want this so badly, Im willing to pay for the phone, plus do my chores for free. Meaning giving up my allowance forever to help pay for the monthly phone cost. Ive told my mom all this, but she does not want to talk about it at ALL. Btw, Im in th grade. And Im sooo sad cause I cant talk to my bffs that are switching schools and moving... I know theres always email...but its just not the same as hearing their voice... im like crying right now ?....I miss my friends already omg. Is there anything I can tell my mom to convince her to let me like buy a cell phone??

Well, start off with everything you told us and add on that you dont feel safe without one. Say that if you are ever somewhere by yourself and get caught in a bad situation you want to be able to get ahold of someone. Its a legitimate reason.
