How do I build a great home entertainment system?

It really depends on two things what your budget is and what you are going to be doing with it.brbrIm going to assume you want an all in one package with an unlimited budget and plenty of space to put it all in.brbrFirst you will want to pick your screen. I would recommend getting a high quality projector with a good resolution unless you plan on doing any kind of gaming in which case a plasma television is the way to go. I would go with the ratio because it just looks so much better. Again the size of the screen and the quality all depends on budget and size of the room.brbrSecond invest in a good . surround sound system. I recommend looking at something from NAD. They have simple setups and quality sound.brbrYou will want some nice heavy gage wire preferable gold, silver, or copper to run from your equipment to your speakers.brbrFor speakers I would recommend high quality studio monitors. They will run about a piece but the sound quality is exceptional because you will hear the music, explosions, etc. just like they were meant to sound. You will also want a nice subwoofer to rattle the neighbors house off of its foundation if you so choose. Again go with something they use in a studio.brbrGood luck.
